Hi, Im Candice!
For the past 11 years, I’ve been working as a paediatric registered nurse. If you’ve ever spent a shift on a ward, you know that healthcare isn’t just about clinical tasks, it’s about human connection.
I started Care Factor because I saw firsthand the absolute magic that happens when a nurse walks into a room wearing a pair of fun, vibrant scrubs.
Suddenly, the clinical wall drops. A scared child smiles. A worried parent breathes a little easier. A conversation opens up, rapport is built, and a clinical environment instantly starts to feel just a little bit safer.
But I also realized something else during those grueling 12-hour stretches: while we are entirely consumed with taking care of everyone else, our own comfort and individuality usually take a backseat.
I wanted to create a medical apparel brand that does both.
